Theodosia A.G. Tamborlane paints in oil and acrylic on paper, canvas, and fabric and creates three dimensional collages and wall installations. Theo is a full time painter and illustrator who has her studio in Dunedin, Florida. She provides Painting and Drawing Lessons for students from ten to eighteen years of age and adults at her studio.
Theo's paintings have been shown in over 150 group and solo shows in New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, and Florida since 2008. Also, her paintings are in private collections in the United States, Europe and Japan, and in eight Foundation collections in New Jersey.
In New York City, Theo is a member of the Art Students League, in New Jersey the Contemporary Art Group, and in Florida, the Dunedin Fine Art Center, the Professional Association of Visual Artists and the Morean Art Center and Leepa-Rattner Museum.
On May 9th, 2019, the Dunedin Fine Art Center hosted "Coffee and Conversation with Theo Tamborlane". The title of the talk was "Abstract Art and You -- Perfect Together". The one hour talk provides a brief history of the development of Abstract Art in Europe and the USA before, during, and after World War II and what to consider when purchasing abstract art.
